w   For many years a membership to the YWCA has been viewed solely as a necessity to participate in programs.  This view has left our Association struggling to acquire members as we move forward into a new state of growth and development for our YWCA.

            Membership in the YWCA has always been about supporting women and girls in our community and around the world.  It is about supporting the programs and services that are needed by many women and their children. It is about advocating for change in policies to have a positive impact on the lives of women and girl.  It is about believing that empowering women and eliminating racism are the right things to do.
