YWCA Warren and Beatitude House offer Permanent Supportive Housing for 12 women and their children who qualify for assistance by being domestic violence survivors or having a disability that impedes their ability to live independently. Our families receive specialized care that helps them avoid homelessness and live stable, healthy lives. Supportive services include assistance with education and employment, life skills, mental health care and drug/alcohol treatment, coaching for mothers, and educational and emotional enrichment programs for children.  The WINGS are managed by YWCA Warren, and we collaborate with area agencies to provide supportive services to our residents. Beatitude House provides support services for families including case management and child advocacy. Coleman Professional Services, Valley Counseling Services, and Greentree Counseling Center offer counseling services. The families in residence have the opportunity to participate in a variety of onsite programs offered by YWCA Warren.

Construction of the apartments was made possible by support from Warren-Trumbull HOME Consortium, Corporation for Supportive Housing, Ohio Housing Finance Agency, Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati, Rotary Club of Warren, and Huntington Bank.

The residents of the WINGS at YWCA are supported by the generosity of our community. You can support these women and their families by hosting a "Get to Know Us" event at your group's next meeting or at your church, by providing financial support, or by donating household items.  For a list of items we will always gratefully accept, please click here.
