Week Without Violence

Each year hundreds of YWCA associations across the country participate in this signature initiative to end violence of all kinds, no matter where it occurs. Using each day of the week to highlight a different kind of violence—Sexual Assault, Racial Profiling and Hate Crimes, Domestic Violence, Economic Violence, and Immigration-Related Violence—the YWCA aims to inspire communities to come together to recognize different forms of violence and find solutions to eliminate them.
The YWCA Warren uses our annual fundraiser, Y’s Women, to raise awareness of the power of women in our own community to pool resources to make a positive impact on the lives of those affected by violence.
